Aubrey Lamberti scored 23 points, Desiree Merritt 13 and Maggie Lewandowski 11 for the Wolves (8-7, 3-3), who allowed just 13 points over the final three quarters.

Nicole Warbinski added eight points and Cassie VanMeter had seven points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Oswego 62, Plainfield Central 25

Peyton Johnson scored 18 points, Peytton Wiggins 14 and Kendall Grant nine for Oswego (8-8, 2-4).

Yorkville 71, Joliet West 50

The visiting Foxes jumped out to a 41-22 halftime lead and went on to the Southwest Prairie Conference win. Brooke Spychalski led the way for the Foxes (11-6, 6-1) with 19 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and five assists and Macie Jones had 10 points and four assists. Lainey Gyssman added nine points and Madi Spychalski eight.

Boys Wrestling

Minooka 41, Oswego 35

Minooka won the last match by pin to take the dual meet.

Wins for Oswego included Nolan O’Grady (113), Aiden Ortiz (126), Vincent Manfre (138), Brayden Swanson (144), Dillon Griffin (150), Ethan Essick (157) and Cooper Wynn (190).

Rochelle 53, Sandwich 24: At Rochelle, the visiting Indians lost to their old conference rival. Scoring contested wins for Sandwich were Luis Murillo (285 pounds), Jakob Gruca (126), Colten Stone (132) and Joshua Kotalik (150).

Boys Bowling

Johnsburg 3,204, Plano 2,834

John Gorgius had the high series of the night for Plano. Also competing for Plano were Dillan Johnson, Shawn Vazquez, Camden Winkler, Ryan Dye, and Gavin Kellett.

Girls Bowling

Oswego 2,747, Plainfield East 2,090

Junior Sunnie Bowker bowled a personal best 279 in the first game and led all bowlers with a 606 series to lead Oswego at Parkside Lanes.

Senior Rhiannon Reynolds shot a 556 and sophomore Marlee Doty stepped up with a personal best 539 series with freshman Delaney Jourdan just behind her with a 538 series to round out the top four bowlers for Oswego.

Woodstock 2,597, Plano 1,882

Gracie Busboom had Plano’s high series of 493 and high game of 192.
