Sycamore’s Matt Clark Invite
Led by top two finishers Maya Santeliz and Kathryn Schmudde, Oswego East won the 13-team Matt Clark Invite at Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb.
Oswego East finished with a total pinfall of 5,983, with Oswego (5,314) taking third.
Santeliz was first place with a total of 1,274, followed by Schmudde in second with a 1,243. Oswego East’s Bella Santeliz was fifth, Alexa Keith sixth and Mia Almeida seventh.
Oswego’s Rhiannon Reynolds was ninth with an 1,167 total.

Oswego East Co-op was second at the Hinsdale South Invite on Saturday.
Oswego East’s Tony Hintz won the diving competition with a 239.90 score. Chase Maier won the 1,000 freestyle in 9:27.32 and 500 free in 4:34.90, Owen Lippoldt the 50 free in 21.22. Oswego East also won the 200 and 800 free relays.

Josie Larson had 26 points and eight rebounds for visiting Plano (17-3, 5-1), which jumped out to a 27-4 lead after a quarter and went on to its ninth straight win. Alanna Roldan added seven points and Chloe Rowe seven rebounds.

Dom Rome had 13 points and seven rebounds, Griffin Somlock scored 13 points and Simeion Harris had 11 points and six rebounds for Sandwich (8-9).

Tray Alford scored 17 points, Jayden Riley 14 and Noah Aguado 12 for the Mustangs (13-6).
