Yorkville 66, Plainfield North 9

The Foxes (21-3) beat Plainfield North to clinch their fourth straight Southwest Prairie Conference title. Yorkville winners included Ramsey Barton, Liam Fenoglio, Vincent Konecki, Dominic Recchia, Donncha Souza, Zachary Rosauer, Jack Ferguson, Caleb Viscogliosi, Luke Zook, Ryder Janeczko Luke Chrisse and Xavion Ulloa.

Oswego 62, Oswego East 14

Oswego had pins by Carson Knowles (106), Aiden Ortiz (126), Lazar Kristic (132), Ethan Essick (157) and Cooper Wynn (190). Oswego East’s Josh Edwards earned a pin at 215.

Girls Basketball

Oswego East 62, Joliet Central 27

The Wolves jumped out to a 33-18 halftime lead and went on to the Southwest Prairie Conference win.

Desiree Merritt scored 21 points and Aubrey Lamberti and Maggie Lewandowski added 14 apiece for Oswego East (11-7, 6-3).

Yorkville 68, Plainfield East 36

Madi Spychalski scored 19 points, Brooke Spychalski 12 and Lainey Gussman nine for the Foxes (13-6, 8-1 SPC).

Oswego Co-Op had wins by Tony Hintz in the diving competition, Ethan Schraeder in the 200 freestyle, Zach Petersen in the 200 individual medley, Brian Springer in the 50 free, Simon Zapanta in the 100 butterfly, Chase Maeier in the 100 free, Petersen in the 500 free, Owen Lippoldt in the 100 backstroke and Christopher Chen in the 100 breaststroke.
