Oswego School District 308 has placed on administrative leave an employee who is charged with being in possession of child sexual abuse images.
Tylor Kinley, 25, of Montgomery, has been employed with the district in the transportation department since 2021, according to a news release posted to the district’s website.
Kinley is not permitted on school district property, including buses, and is not permitted to be in contact with any students, staff or other personnel, according to the release.
“The district has opened a full investigation in cooperation with local law enforcement,” according to the release.
Kinley is charged with four felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, according to a news release from the Montgomery Police Department. On Tuesday, the Montgomery Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 block of Simon Drive in conjunction with an investigation that began in 2023, according to the release.
The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office approved the charges. Kinley was taken into custody without incident by the Montgomery Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await a pretrial detention hearing, according to the release.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Montgomery Police Department Investigations Division at 331-212-9091 or by email at investigations@ci.montgomery.il.us.
District 308 officials said those with any questions or concerns can contact Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Bryan Zwemke.
