The Walmart Supercenter store at 2000 Orchard Road in Montgomery has reopened for business following a fire Thursday afternoon.
Walmart made the announcement on its Facebook page Friday morning.
One individual on the scene was evaluated and treated for smoke inhalation and was released without transportation to a hospital, according to a news release from the Oswego Fire Protection District.
A second individual was taken to a local hospital for an unrelated injury, according to the release. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Oswego Fire Protection District responded to the fire about 12:52 p.m. Upon arrival, crews identified a fire on the roof of the building, according to the release.
While the fire was successfully confined to the roof area, the interior of the store sustained water and smoke damage as a result of firefighting operations, according to the release.
The Oswego Fire Protection District was assisted by numerous mutual aid agencies, whose support contributed to the efficient management of the incident, according to the release.
