Knights of Columbus free-throw contest winners move on to regional competition

The District Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest was held Jan. 22 at Our Lady of Mercy gym in Aurora. Two winners of the Jan. 16 Yorkville Council level competition competed at the district contest. Congratulations to 10-year-old Andrew Madden of Yorkville and 11 year-old Nick Lohrey, also of Yorkville, for winning their age groups. They both received Olympic- sized medals and will move on to the regional competition in March.
