Kendall County resident arrested on murder charge in Arizona

Aurora police had arrested suspect on domestic battery charge earlier this year

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona arrested a Kendall County man on a charge of second-degree murder Monday, Dec. 21.

Authorities in Arizona charged Dustin Hegreberg, 35, of the 2100 block of Whitetail Drive in Aurora with second-degree murder, manslaughter and tampering with evidence, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately return request for comment.

According to Kendall County property tax records, Hegreberg owns a home in the Aurora portion of Oswego Township. He is also the founder and president of Clique Nutrition, Inc. - a fitness and vitamin store in Joliet.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Aurora police arrested Hegreberg on charges of domestic battery and misdemeanor property damage on January 15, 2020. He posted a $300 bond and was released from jail the following day, according to sheriff’s records.
