Boulder Hill resident arrested on battery charge

Suspect also found to be wanted on warrants for theft, criminal damage to property, sheriff’s office data shows

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Boulder Hill resident, Adam Herren, 18, of the 0-99 block of Sierra Road, on a charge of battery at 4:14 p.m. June 12 in the 0-99 block of Bereman Road in Boulder Hill.

In a press statement, the sheriff’s office said deputies were summoned to the Bereman Road location on a report of a battery involving a 15 year-old victim.

The sheriff’s office said the victim suffered a minor injury in the incident and sought medical attention.

Deputies arrested Herren on a charge of battery in connection with the incident.

The sheriff’s office said Herren was also found to be wanted on a Kendall County warrant for prior charges of theft and criminal damage to property. He was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville where he later posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.
