Aurora man arrested on domestic battery, criminal sexual assault charges

Suspect in Yorkville incidents taken into custody by U.S. Marshals

Agents for the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested an Aurora man, Ricardo Munoz, 27, of the 900 block of Sumner Avenue, on Monday, Dec. 28 on two count charges of criminal sexual assault, three counts of aggravated domestic battery, and one count of unlawful restraint in connection with two incidents that occurred in November 2019 in the 1200 block of Marketplace Drive in Yorkville, according to Yorkville police.

In a press release, police described the two incidents that led to Munoz arrest as isolated and noted that he was known to the victim.

Police said Munoz was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville where his bond has been set at $75,000.
