Yorkville police responded to a fight at Raging Waves water park late Sunday afternoon, June 27.

In a press statement, Yorkville police reported that officers were dispatched at 4:59 p.m., to the water park in the 4000 block of North Bridge Street (Route 47) on a report of a fight.

Upon arrival, officers determined that between 15-20 patrons, including adults and juveniles, had been involved in a fight and had been separated by Raging Waves security personnel.

“Both parties provided very little cooperation with the police investigation,” police said in the statement.

A juvenile was treated by park staff for a minor injury, according to police.

The patrons were trespassed from the water park and left without further incident. No charges have been filed, police said.

Personnel from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and the Plano Police Department assisted Yorkville officers at the scene.
