Fourth annual Chocolate Walk to brighten up downtown Oswego

The fourth annual Chocolate Walk for Charity will return to downtown Oswego in early February bringing sweet treats to 2021.

Sponsored by the Oswego Downtown Oswego Association, the annual event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday Feb. 6, with proceeds this year going to support Camp Out from Cancer.

Camp Out from Cancer is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that sends care packages with everything a child may need for an “indoor camping adventure while fighting cancer.”

Tickets this year cost $20, which will cover the cost of a canvas tote bag featuring this year’s logo and a chocolate treat from every participating store. There is a maximum of 300 tickets available this year.

Ticketholders will also be entered into a drawing to win “Downtown Dollars”; with $100 for the first place winner, $50 for the second place winner, and $25 for the third place winner.

Participating stores this year include: Hudson Design House, A Lady and Her Tools, Locked In Photography, Fox River Academy of Music & Art, The Marmalade Tree, Oswego Cyclery, Bella-Gia/Prom Shop, Imagination Print & Design, Village Grind Coffee & Tea, Melissa Jean Boutique, Stonehouse Market, Floral Expression’s/Lil Emm’s, Urbane Hemp, Happenstance Goods, EXP Realty - The Kearns Team, ACES Education, Bentley’s Pet Stuff, Jerry Bannister Photography and Dusty Road Merchants.
