The Yorkville American Legion will be hosting a fish fry Friday, March 19, at the legion, 9054 Route 34, Yorkville.
The dinner will be a plated, carryout event with limited seating from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Featured on the menu will be breaded fried cod, baked tilapia and breaded fried shrimp.
The new menu and pricing are $14 for jumbo platter that includes two pieces of cod, 1 piece of tilapia and three pieces of shrimp; $13 for a combo plate that includes two pieces of cod and three pieces shrimp or two pieces of tilapia and three pieces of shrimp; $12 for a plate that includes three pieces of cod or three pieces of tilapia; $11 for a dinner that includes two pieces of cod or tilapia; $11 for a shrimp dinner that includes six pieces of shrimp; or $6 for a chicken tender dinner that includes two pieces of chicken. Dinners include french fries, baked beans and coleslaw.
Baked goods will be offered by the Legion Auxiliary and Scouts will have a plant sale in the hall at the same time.
