Boulder Hill man arrested as deputies respond to report of fight

Suspect charged with domestic battery, obstructing and found wanted on assault warrant

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Izaias C. Diaz, 33, of the 0-100 block of Pueblo Road, Boulder Hill, at 3:30 a.m. April 1 while responding to a report of a fight in progress at his residence.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said Diaz was arrested on charges of domestic battery and obstructing a peace officer. Additionally, the sheriff’s office said Diaz was found to be wanted on a Kendall County warrant for a prior aggravated assault charge.

Sheriff’s deputies transported Diaz to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings. The bond on Diaz’s warrant was set at $5,000.
