Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District swears in first full-time firefighter/paramedics

The Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District held a ceremony on Saturday, April 3 to swear-in the district’s first 10 full-time firefighter/paramedics.

Newly appointed full-time firefighter/paramedics include Tyler Ament, Chris Ronning, Jaime Martinez, Ted Karlovich, Brandon Fairfield, Audrey Enlow, Christine Valaski, Brandon Johnson, Josh McElroy and Nate King.

Board of Trustees President Ken Johnson and Chief Jim Bateman addressed the attendees at the ceremony. Fire Commissioner Secretary Mark Hoffert administered the oath. Presentation of the Certificates of Appointment were presented by Fire Commissioner Chairman Dr. Brian Berkey.

After the oath, a family member of each firefighter/paramedic proudly presented their helmet to them. Closing remarks were made by Chief Bateman.
