Oswego Fire Protection District seeks vehicle donations for training

Oswego Fire Protection District truck at Station No. 1, Oswego

The Oswego Fire Protection District is seeking vehicle donations for training purposes. These vehicles will provide members essential hands-on training. This includes vehicle stabilization, extrication, EMS, and even fire investigation training. In addition, they provide the opportunity to perform live demonstrations for events such as the Open House, Oswego Junior Public Safety Academy, and Operation Prom.

The vehicles can be any car, pickup truck, van or SUV that has a clear title in the donator’s name. They do not have to run, but preferably able to roll. Oswego Fire is able to arrange transportation for any vehicles in the Fire District or immediate surrounding communities.

All vehicles will receive a donation letter from the Fire Protection District.

For all inquiries or to schedule a donation, contact Lt. Jason Sipes at 630-554-2110 or training@oswegofire.com.
