The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. Jeffrey Kurinec was sworn in July 22 by Sheriff Dwight Baird.
Deputy Kurinec studied at the College of DuPage. He worked as a territory representative at Ecolab before being hired by the sheriff’s office.
Deputy Kurinec will be attending the five-week Basic Corrections Training Academy, which will begin July 26. Upon completion of the academy, Deputy Kurinec will be paired with an experienced field training officer for a rigorous, 11-week field training program.
