Kendall County Sheriff’s Office hires new corrections deputy

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. Austin Cinotto was sworn in Oct. 21 by Sheriff Dwight Baird.

Deputy Cinotto studied at Western Illinois University, where he earned a degree in law enforcement and justice administration. He worked at the Illinois Department of Corrections for two years as a corrections officer and three years at the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office as a corrections officer before being hired by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Cinotto will be paired with an experienced field training officer for a rigorous 11-week field training program.
