‘Hero at Home’ donated to Homestead Elementary School

Rick Gardner, co-leader of Fox Valley Veterans Breakfast Club, presented a copy of “Hero at Home” to Julie Cumblad, K-2 interventionist at Homestead Elementary School in Aurora. Homestead is located within Oswego School District 308.

Gardner made the presentation at the Nov. 18 club breakfast at Oswego American Legion Post 675 Hall in downtown Oswego.

At the breakfast, Cumblad displayed student drawings, place-mats and letters celebrating Veterans Day.
