Montgomery man facing DUI charge after Route 25 crash

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Fernando E. Olayo-Rangel, 39, of the 1800 block of Grandview Place, Montgomery, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a crash at 4:20 a.m. Dec. 19 at the intersection of Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass in Oswego Township.

In a statement, police said Olayo-Rangel was charged with driving under the influence and additionally cited for operating a vehicle without insurance and improper lane usage.

The suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville where he later posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.
