Battery, resisting charges
Sandwich police arrested Ryan Davis, 28, of the 700 block of East Church Street, Sandwich, at 5:04 p.m. March 9 on charges of battery and resisting a peace officer. Police said Davis posted bond and was released pending an appearance April 27 at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.
Domestic battery charge
Sandwich police arrested Herminio Ortiz, 34, of the 300 block of Wilshire Drive, Sandwich, at 9:48 a.m. March 10 on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Ortiz was not able to post bond and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.
Theft charge
Sandwich police arrested Timothy Ryan, 33, of Popular Drive, Sandwich, at 1:30 p.m. March 9 on a charge of theft. Police said Ryan posted bond and was released pending an appearance April 27 at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.
