Older Yorkshire terrier loves squeaky toys, attention

GRAYSLAKE – Chaz says, “I’m a recent arrival and I’m still in the process of getting adjusted. Actually, it is never too early to start promoting myself.

“I know I look like a little hippie. I just say this is fashionable nowadays and who wants to get shaved down with this weather.

“I enjoy little squeaky toys, but especially the loving care and attention from the Canine Care staff. They are just amazing and know how to heal our broken hearts and make us happy. Until I find a new family, I’m enjoying my stay here.”

This little Yorkshire terrier is about 12 years old. Chaz is neutered, up to date on shots (including rabies vaccination), tested negative for heartworm and on preventive and microchipped.

While walk-ins are welcome, adoptions are by appointments only to ensure staff members are available to help adopters.
