WAUKEGAN – The 2025 State of the Workforce event, hosted by Lake County Workforce Development, the Job Center of Lake County and Lake County Partners, will offer valuable insights into the economic and workforce future of Lake County.
The virtual workshop will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 29.
Attendees will gain insights from an unemployment and labor market overview highlighting trends and job market conditions. They also will learn about career support and training grants, including financial aid and career planning resources.
Participants can discover how workforce program data shows the impact of training grants on the local workforce, get the latest on the economic landscape featuring key investments shaping the local economy and connect with the Lake County Workforce Ecosystem, a collaborative network strengthening workforce connections.
