Callbacks will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13. Rehearsals will begin the week of Feb. 24. Rehearsals are Monday through Thursday evenings (with possible weekend rehearsals, based on cast availability) until tech week April 5-10. Performances are April 12-19.
Play On! is an annual celebration of student creativity, talent and achievement. Students showcase their abilities as actors, directors, stage managers, designers and technicians.
In this student showcase, the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride. Several actors will try to combine all 209 stories, including classics such as Snow White, Cinderella and Hansel and Gretel. The wild, free-form comedy is full of audience participation and madcap fun.
“The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 12, 2 p.m. April 13 and 7:30 p.m. April 17, 18 and 19 on the JLC main stage.
