Lake Villa Library District Library to host Grapes & Growlers

LINDENHURST – Grapes & Growlers: A Night at the Library 2025, sponsored by the Lake Villa District Library Foundation, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 21.

Guests must be 21+ to attend, and there is a $20 cover charge.

Attendees will receive a commemorative wine or beer glass and a free drink ticket, while supplies last.

The evening will feature John Primer & the Real Deal Blues Band performing two sets of blues music.

Food and desserts will be available, including treats from Antioch Pizza Lindenhurst and “bundteenies” from Nothing Bundt Cakes Gurnee, while supplies last.

Wine and craft beer will be offered courtesy of Antioch Fine Wine & Liquors, Harbor Brewing Co. and 9th Hour Brewing for a $5 a glass donation. Drink tickets can be bought for $5 each or five for $20.

Proceeds from Grapes & Growlers will support the library’s summer reading program, an annual initiative aimed at encouraging reading during summer break and fostering reading as a daily habit. The popular program engages thousands of children and adults each year.
