Coal City United Methodist hosts blood drive Oct. 30

The Coal City United Methodist Church is hosting a community blood drive with Versiti Blood Center from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6805 E. McArdle Road.

Those wishing to donate can contact Karen Hart at 708-217-5808 to schedule a preferred time or register at versiti.org/il.

Walk-ins are also welcome, but appointments are recommended. To donate, bring a photo ID, eat a good meal and drink plenty of water. One pint of blood can save up to three lives.
