Grundy County awards $1.121 million contract to D Construction to widen Sherrill Road

The Grundy County Board awarded a $1,121,285 bid to D Construction to widen Sherrill Road in Northern Grundy County, the road north of the Morris Municipal Airport.

County Engineer Eric Gibson said the plan right now is to use funding from the motor fuel tax, truck access route program money and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity funds for the project.

This measure passed unanimously.
