The Morris City Council approved a business permit for a Popeyes to open at 1839 N. Division St. on Monday, and the business opened officially on Wednesday.
Contractors were still working on the building, which is next to O’Reilly Auto Parts on the east side of Route 47, on Monday.
Popeyes is operated by Aby Group, Inc., which operates many Popeyes in the surrounding area.
