The cold weather throughout Central Illinois has led Morris Community High School and Morris Elementary to use e-learning days on Tuesday, while Saratoga Elementary will have a day off.

Immaculate Conception School in Morris will be in session, though students are not required to wear a uniform and are asked to dress in warm clothes. Immaculate Conception School will also not have a bus service Tuesday, so parents are asked to make plans to get students to school.

Both Minooka Community High School and Minooka Elementary will be in session as well.

The forecast calls for wind chills as low as 25 to 30 degrees below zero, according to the National Weather Service. The cold could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes, the National Weather Service said.
