Grundy Economic Development Council names new vice president

The Grundy Economic Development Council has named a Morris native as its new vice president of development.

Aindrea Hogan “brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, relationship building and a commitment to the betterment of her community,” the GEDC said in a news release.

Hogan’s professional background includes 11 years of experience in college fundraising, where she developed and executed ”innovative strategies to cultivate donor relationships, secure vital resources and support institutional goals,” according to the release.

In her role as vice president of development, Hogan will focus on initiatives to attract and retain quality businesses, increase employment opportunities and lead efforts to strengthen investor relationships, according to the release.

“The Grundy Economic Development Council is excited to attract top talent like Aindrea to our organization. Her professional experience and commitment to her hometown community make this a great match,” President & CEO Nancy Norton said in the release.

Hogan starts her new position Wednesday, Jan. 22.

“I am truly honored to join the GEDC. As a proud native of Grundy County, this opportunity is especially meaningful to me, as it allows me to give back to the community I’ve always called home. I am deeply passionate about fostering strong, collaborative partnerships to drive sustainable, positive change for the future,” Hogan said in the release.

Hogan has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree of organizational leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.
