Mother and infant from rural Morris listed as missing, endangered

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement Thursday that Emily Johnson, 34, of W. Southmor Road and her 3-month-old son Silas Iennarella, are missing.

Sheriff’s deputies attempted to serve an order of protection and a separate court order issued in Kendall County to Johnson, but the infant’s grandmother told deputies that the two no longer lived there.

The infant’s father contacted the deputies and said he was receiving concerning text messages, according to the Thursday news release. The statement also says Johnson is aware of the order of protection.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office did a phone location search on Johnson’s phone, and it showed her in Aurora. The Aurora Police Department has been notified and has contacted a relative in the city, but that relative didn’t cooperate, according to the news release.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office asked anyone who knows Johnson and her son’s whereabouts to contact them at 815-942-0336, option 8, or by calling 911.
