Prairie Singers host concert at St. Patrick’s in Ransom

The Prairie Singers are hosting a post-Christmas concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 at St. Patrick’s Church, 110 S. Wallace St., Ransom.

There will be hymns, organ music and choral selections to conclude the Singers Christmas concert series.

The concert is also commemorating the 100-plus years of worship at St. Patrick’s Church, which is closing at the end of January.

The church has stained glass windows telling the life story of Jesus from birth to resurrection, and it also has a 125-year-old A.G. Flegemaker tracker organ.

A free offering will be taken after the concert.
