Morris Hospital YMCA hosts open house Saturday

The new Morris Hospital is hosting an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at its new location, 2200 Dupont Ave.

The open house will give both YMCA members and area residents the chance to explore the new building, meet the staff, and learn more about the programs offered.

The 60,000 square-foot building opened for the first time in December, and features an eight-lane lap pool, health and wellness center, gymnasium, indoor walking track surrounding the basketball courts, group exercise studios, a cycling room, a healthy eating kitchen, youth play spaces and meeting rooms.

There will also be activities like games and crafts for all ages, along with membership opportunities, raffles and giveaways. The first 1,000 adults who attend will receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
