Support groups are offered at no cost several times each week throughout the region, with no pre-registration required. It’s meant to be a safe space to connect with one another, share stories, and receive support and encouragement.
The NAMI Family Support Group is fore caregivers, friends or family of a loved one with a mental health condition. According to the news release, group members can help one another by using their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom.
The Family to Family Class is a nine-week curriculum that provides a supportive and empowering space for family members and caregivers to gain connections, understanding and tools to help support loved ones facing mental health challenges. Registration for this course is required and accessible at https://namiwillgrundy.org/family-to-family-class. Registration for the January 2025 class is now open.
