The Village Christian Church hosted its Winter Wonderland event last Saturday, drawing families from the local community for a night of fun and additional holiday cheer.

The event had a variety of activities like sock skating, craft stations, games and a petting zoo according to a Wednesday news release.

“It was a much-needed event for families to have a warm, inviting, interactive and most of all fun time,” said Amy Pehlke, Children’s Pastor. “It was so nice to see all the families that came and we hope to see them again soon!”

The Village Christian Church said it’s looking forward to continuing its tradition of hosting family-friendly events.

“Guests enjoyed cozying up around the fire for s’mores while children had the chance to take memorable photos with Anna and Elsa, adding a touch of magic to the night,” reads the news release. “The event was designed to create lasting memories for families, and based on the smiles and laughter heard throughout the evening, it did just that.”
