Grundy Bank employees achieved 100% participation for the 17th consecutive year, raising over $3,500 in employee donations during their United Way campaign — an increase over last year’s total. The bank itself also made a corporate donation of $1,000 to the campaign.

Grundy Bank annually invests in the community through its donations to the United Way and other local organizations, volunteering for local events, serving on local boards holding food drives and coordinating a summer hot dog eating contest, according to a recent release.

The community’s generosity has allowed the United Way of Grundy County to support nearly 50 vital programs and services provided by local nonprofit partner agencies. These programs funded by the United Way of Grundy County provide basic human needs, health, education, income stability, mental health services, homeless prevention, crisis intervention, domestic violence programs, disability services, transportation and disaster relief.
