Area restaurants collaborate on 13th annual Soup & Bread fundraising event

Area restaurants will come together for a greater purpose at the 13th annual Soup & Bread fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2024, at Holiday Inn West Banquets, 6201 Joliet Road in Countryside, to benefit BEDS Plus, a nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable people in Chicago’s southwest suburbs stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services.

Area restaurants will come together for a greater purpose at the 13th annual Soup & Bread fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn West Banquets, 6201 Joliet Road, Countryside.

The fundraiser will benefit BEDS Plus, a nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable people in Chicago’s southwest suburbs stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services.

This family-friendly event will feature 20 savory soups prepared and donated by independent restaurants throughout the southwest suburbs. From exotic flavors like cream and cognac onion soup and lobster bisque to hearty classics like chili and corned beef and cabbage, there will be soups to satisfy every taste.

  • Ledo’s Pizza, Countryside
  • Mana, La Grange
  • Marco’s Kitchen, La Grange
  • Monk’s Mobile Kitchen
  • Prasino, La Grange
  • Stadium Club, McCook
  • Steak & Vine, La Grange
  • The Gravy Lady, Burr Ridge

Guests can also enjoy live performances by The Vaughn Building, The August James Band, Crows of Furey and an open mic jam session. Craft beers, wines and specialty cocktails donated by local breweries and distilleries will also be available alongside fresh bread and desserts.
