Cooper Langreder grabbed a loose ball, dribbled the length of the court and laid the ball in to give Glenbard South a lead with seven seconds left in overtime as the Raiders rallied to win a wild one 56-54 over visiting South Elgin in the Upstate Eight Conference opener.

Wheaton Warrenville South junior guard David Showman opened up Friday’s DuKane Conference game St. Charles East with a 3-pointer. Sophomore AJ Rogers followed with a 3-pointer of his own to set the tone for the Tigers, who went on to a 57-39 rout in the conference opener.
