BOYS BASKETBALL

Glenbard West 65, Hinsdale Central 50

Braden Huff scored 19 points, Paxton Warden 17 and Danny Mulcare 10 for the Hilltoppers (8-0, 2-0). Charlie Sessa scored 22 points and Ben Oosterbaan 15 for the Red Devils (4-2, 1-1).

Morton 76, Addison Trail 51

Jesus Perez scored 21 points and Eliseo Gonzalez shot 9-for-15 from the floor for a game-high 23 points for the Mustangs (2-2, 2-0). Josh Dowdell scored 12 points and six rebounds.

Glenbard East 57, East Aurora 56

Terence Spencer made two go-ahead free throws with 11 seconds left, and Isaiah Joiner came up with a steal with one second left to seal the victory. Spencer scored 15 points and LaDonus Rogers nine for the Rams, who held East Aurora to eight points in the fourth quarter.

Riverside-Brookfield 74, Westmont 41

Cory Baker and Joe Gilhooley each scored 15 points, Joevonn McCottry added 12 and JP Hanley had 10 for the Bulldogs (6-1).

Timothy Christian 62, Ridgewood 41

Josh Harris had 19 points and four rebounds, Ben VanderWal 12 points, four rebounds and four blocks and Ben Jones 11 points for the Trojans.

Proviso East 57, Willowbrook 49

Marquel Saleek scored 15 points and Evan Stubblefield nine for the Warriors.

Lyons 65, Proviso West 62

The Lions improved to 7-1 on the season.

Hailey Markworth scored 22 points, Lindsey Hahn 18 and Izzy Lee 14 for the Lions.

Wheaton Warrenville South 52, Lake Park 45

Ella Crawford scored 18 points and Lily Huntzinger had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers (6-3, 3-3), who won their fourth straight game. Hannah Struebing chipped in six points and 14 rebounds.

Hinsdale Central 56, Glenbard West 51 (OT)

Eleanor Monyek scored 17 points, Lanie Randle had 12 points and Nina Sarros added nine for the Red Devils, which rallied from down five going into the fourth quarter to win in overtime. Sophia Brown scored 24 points for Glenbard West.

Willowbrook 61, Proviso East 31

Stephanie Dasbach had 13 points and 15 rebounds, Sophie Sullivan 13 points and Taris Thornton 12 for Willowbrook.
