Beat the winter blues with the Downers Grove Public Library’s winter bingo program.
Running from Jan. 4 to Feb. 28, winter bingo is played by completing activities and reading books. Patrons can win prizes including books, gift cards, Nintendo Switch Lites and a Samsung Galaxy tablet.
Get a bingo card on the library’s READsquared app or website and track reading for the whole family. READsquared will notify bingo players when they get a prize and will give badges based on progress. Readers who prefer paper forms can find them on the library’s website.
Reading can look different for everyone--whether someone prefers a hardcopy book, eBook, graphic novel, or audiobook--it all counts. Everyone can participate in programs that are specially designed by our librarians for children, teens and adults.
Find book recommendations by checking out the library’s staff picks (dglibrary.org/staff-picks), or request a recommendation from a librarian based on your reading habits. The eLibrary is always open, with ebooks and digital audiobooks available on three different platforms: Libby by Overdrive, CloudLibrary, and Hoopla.
