Police blotter: March 14, 2022

Luis A. Figueroa, 39, of Streator, was charged with no valid driver’s license following a crash 7:58 p.m. Thursday at the State Farm office at Eighth and Joliet streets, La Salle police said.

Christopher A. Cali, 35, of La Salle, was picked up on La Salle County warrants for failure to appear (aggravated battery to a police officer; manufacture/distribution of a lookalike substance) at 4:28 p.m. March 8 at Sixth and Marquette streets, La Salle police said in a report issued Monday.

Tyrell K. Phillips, 25, of La Salle, was charged with possession of cannabis, a violation of La Salle city ordinance, at 6:39 p.m. Sunday at the La Salle High-Rise, La Salle police said.

Amanda J. Mansker, 33, of La Salle, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (aggravated battery) at 8:19 p.m. Sunday at 1536 LaHarpe St., La Salle police said.

Trevon T. Marshall, 29, homeless, was picked up on a La Salle County warrant charging him with criminal damage to property at 12:04 a.m. Friday at the La Salle Police Department, La Salle police said.

Cecil McAdams, 56, of Ottawa, was charged with driving while suspended and no insurance Friday in the 900 block of Fulton Street, Ottawa police said.

Michael A. Rideout Jr., 21, of Streator, was picked up on failure to appear warrants from La Salle and Grundy counties (both for DUI) Friday at State and Van Buren streets, Ottawa police said.

Jeremy McAfee, 24, of Ottawa, was charged with domestic battery Friday in his residence, Ottawa police said.

Jennifer N. Giacinto, 26, of Ottawa, was charged with driving while suspended and no insurance Saturday in the 2700 block of Columbus Street, Ottawa police said.

Elizabeth A. Barsztaitis, 38, of Ottawa, with driving while suspended Friday at Chestnut and Superior streets, Ottawa police said.

Roger L. Sampson, 64, homeless, was charged with harassment by telephone Saturday in the 800 block of East Superior Street, Ottawa police said.

Dennis W. Dwyer, 70, of Ottawa, with driving while revoked and no insurance Sunday in the 4100 block of Columbus Street, Ottawa police said.

Curtis W. Elliott, 57, of rural Marseilles, was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and speeding Sunday in the 400 block of East Norris Drive, Ottawa police said.

Thomas J. Stokes, 42, of Ottawa, with DUI and driving while revoked Sunday in the 200 block of West Norris Drive, Ottawa police said.

Phillip R. Fite, 34, of Peru was charged with harassment by telephone and assault at 8:58 p.m. Sunday at a residence in the 1500 block of Walnut Street, Peru police said.

Trevor M. Johnson, 24, of La Salle was charged with retail theft and criminal damage to property at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Antwon T. Baines, 23, of Peru was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear at 10 a.m. Sunday at his residence, Peru police said.

Royce A. Edgcomb, 29, of Peru was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear at 6:51 p.m. Saturday at his residence, Peru police said.

Zachery A. Cinotto, 27, of Peru was charged with DUI, imprpoer lane use, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following an accident with no injuries at 12:18 a.m. Saturday at Eighth and Cross streets, Peru police said.

Timothy A. Richardson, 38, of La Salle was charged with driving while suspended and no insurance at 8:28 p.m. Friday at Interstate 80 and Route 251, Peru police said.

Christie L. Phillips, 34, of Peru was charged with suspended registration at 7:20 p.m. Friday at Sixth and Peoria streets, Peru police said.

Jonathon R. Juergensen, 33, of Granville was charged with disorderly conduct at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Laura L. Zeman 36, of Peru was charged with retail theft (less than $50) at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Sarah M. Gruenwald, 26, of Peru was charged with driving while suspended at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday and U.S. 6 and Meridian Road, Peru police said. Two passengers in her vehicle were picked up on La Salle County warrants for failure to appear: Jacqueline R. Leota, 34, Spring Valley (leaving the scene of an accident) and Nicolaus Phillips, 22, of Ottawa (aggravated fleeing and eluding), police said.

James Pierson, 33, of Streator, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon at 10:48 p.m. Sunday at 806 Johnson St., Streator police said.
