Ottawa Chamber hosts social media photo contest

The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an April Community Photo Challenge to get residents, businesses and visitors out in the community to showcase Ottawa.

The challenge is open to all community members of all ages, and for every five public posts using the hashtag #pictureottawa2021 on Instagram or Facebook, participants will be entered to win small prizes from businesses.

Drawings will be held on April 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30.

Anyone who posts all 30 days will be entered to win a grand prize and receive a free T-shirt.

Photos under the hashtag #pictureottawa2021 must be viewable to the public.

BASH, Jeremiah Joe, Tangled Roots, among other businesses, have donated gift cards as prizes for the contest.

Enter the contest by following Ottawa Chamber on Instagram or Facebook at @OttawaChamberIllinois. The chamber posted a graphic that lists photo prompts for each day, with themes like self-portraits, colors, old, new, among others.
