Police blotter: February 16, 2022

Arthur W. Barron, 65, of Ottawa, was charged with obstructing a peace officer Tuesday in the 1000 block of Boyce Memorial Drive, Ottawa police said.

A 14-year-old Ottawa boy was charged with battery Tuesday at a residence in the 2100 block of Somerset Drive, Ottawa police said.

Calvin J. Williams, 28, of Ottawa, was charged with driving while suspended and no insurance Tuesday at Columbus and Joliet streets, Ottawa police said.

Manuel Galvan, 62, of Ottawa, was charged with driving while revoked Tuesday in the 600 block of First Avenue, Ottawa police said.

Victoria A. Larmon, 28, of Dalzell, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to real property at 3:13 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart, Peru police said.

Frank N. Patten, 33, of Port Gibson, Mississippi, was charged with no valid driver’s license and driving without lights at 11:55 p.m. Saturday at Fifth and Orleans streets, Peru police said.

Caroline J. King, 48, of Peru was charged with DUI, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 10:06 p.m. Friday at 12th and Walnut streets, Peru police said.

A 12-year-old Peru girl was charged with truancy at midnight Friday at the Safe School (OLD Roosevelt), Peru police said.

Devin J. Jones, 21, of La Salle, was charged with driving while suspended at 11:50 a.m. Feb. 8 at First and Pike streets, Peru police said in a report issued Wednesday.

Javier Mora Nieto, 47, of Peru, was charged with city ordinance violation for abandoned vehicle at 10:48 a.m. Feb. 8 at his residence, Peru police said in a report issued Wednesday.
