New Peru restaurant Platform 31 hosts ribbon cutting

Restaurant will be open 7 days a week

A new dinner destination in Peru opened with a Wednesday ribbon cutting.

Platform 31 is located at 901 Water St.

Owners Amy, Bryan and Carson Jensen relocated from Washington state to purchase the old Sidetracks Bar with the goal and intention of taking it to the next level.

Platform 31 offers home-cooked style food seven days a week that highlights flavors and styles from the Pacific Northwest.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sundays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and will be offering food service until close.

Platform 31 also offers guests a special brunch menu that can be ordered on Sundays.
