Illinois Valley Community College’s Jazz and Wind ensembles will perform concerts on Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 5, in the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre.

The Oglesby American Legion will hold its monthly taco night from 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11.

The Oglesby Knights of Columbus, 307 E. Florence St., will host a fish and shrimp fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6.

Due to low numbers in its junior and senior classes, the Fieldcrest football program will only field a JV team this coming fall.
