Garden’s Gate plans sister store in downtown Ottawa

Stephanie and Dave Stacy, owners of Garden’s Gate Garden Center and Landscaping, 611 E. Dayton Road, Ottawa, plans to open a sister store called Floret Plants & Provisions this spring at 610 Court St., Ottawa.

The store’s main focus will be on houseplants and all things needed to care for and grow them, along with sprinkles of home and garden goods, Stephanie said.

“(The building) needs a facelift and some interior sprucing up before we can open, but after years of looking for the right space I am so happy to finally call her ours,” Stephanie wrote in a Garden’s Gate Facebook post. The building was the longtime home of Wide Water Gallery.

The owners plan to open in April.
