Eyes on Enterprise: Pizzeria and beer hall to open in Peru

Fire on Fifth is set to open Thursday, Feb. 24, at 300 Fifth St., Peru.

The restaurant will offer 30 craft beers and brick oven pizza, according to the business’ social media pages, and is located at The Atrium at Westclox, which is the center point of the historic building. Star Union Spirits also calls The Atrium home.

Indoor athletic turf space opens in La Salle

The Infield recently opened at 316 Raccuglia Drive, La Salle.

The facility features 10,000 square feet of blue turf for playing sports such as baseball, softball and soccer. Time slots are available for individual or small group rental. There are security cameras and a coded door for safety.

Peru florist to expand to Bloomington

The Flower Bar owner Nikki Tonioni announced she is opening a second location in Bloomington called The Flower Bar Greenhouse & Nursery at 1613 Clearwater Ave.

“We are beyond excited,” read the announcement on The Flower Bar Facebook page. “They are truly no words when you get to do what you love every single day.”

The Bloomington location will carry flowers, plants and more. The Peru location is at 906 Shooting Park Road.
