Hall High School announces homecoming royalty

SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School in Spring Valley has announced its 2021 homecoming royalty.

This year’s king and queen are Artie Argubright, son of David and Marie Argubright of Spring Valley, and Reese McDonald, daughter of Julie and Matt McDonald of Spring Valley. The first runners-up were John Davis, son of Courtney Davis of Spring Valley, and Ariana Villalobos, daughter of Alicia Leon of Spring Valley and Marcial Villalobos of Streator. The second runners-up were Rylan Kerper, son of Chris and Amy Kerper of Arlington, and Annie Davis, daughter of Courtney Davis of Spring Valley.

The king candidates were Denzel Sobin, Ethan Plym, John Davis, Aiden Jones, Mauricio Ruiz, Rylan Kerper, Artie Argubright, Dominic Guerrini, Caleb Savitch, Gabe Lucas and Sean Casey. The queen candidates were Mia DeAngelo, Mia Mautino, Reese McDonald, Maggie Filippini, Katelyn Pullam, Ariana Villalobos, Annie Davis, Faith Biccochi, Molly Dalzot and Callie Meyer.

Class attendants were: freshmen Charizma Tegg and Jack Jablonski; sophomores Valery Arzaga, Max Bryant and Taylor Coutts; juniors Clara Jablonski and Joe Schrader; and seniors Kierra Wozniak, Rivers Jordan, Emily Moreno Reyna and Alex Doll.

This year’s dance was held Oct. 2, with music provided by Diligent DJ and photos by Jen Heredia. The dance was put on by the Class of 2022. Sponsors were Kayleen Loch and Layli Koch, and the theme was “We Are Young.”
