Employees will draw attention to fund raising by wearing jeans Friday

Heartland Bank and Trust Company employees will be raising money in support of the Rotary International’s Disaster Response Fund for Ukrainian relief as part of a blue jeans day fundraiser on Friday, March 25.

Employees who donate $5 are permitted to wear jeans to work Friday. The fundraiser will be in the Princeton, Spring Valley, Henry, Oglesby, Peru, Newark and Plano offices only.

Each location will have a box available for community members who wish to make a donation. The public may also deposit directly into a Ukrainian relief account at the specified Heartland Bank offices. These regional offices will close their collection at the end of business on Friday, April 1. Donations may also be made directly to the Rotary fund at any time at https://my.rotary.org/en/disaster-response-fund.
