Grundy County Coroner John Callahan is investigating an incident where Deborah Floyd, 70, Morris, was struck by a vehicle while crossing Division Street south of Waverly on foot.

The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Sunday, and Floyd was taken to Morris Hospital, where she died of her injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Grundy County Coroner’s Office and the Morris Police Department.
