Crystal Lake South 61, McHenry 30: At McHenry, freshman Gaby Dzik scored 25 points as the Gators rolled in a Fox Valley Conference victory. Laken LePage added 17 points and Makena Cleary had 11 for South (5-2, 3-0).

Avery Stinger led McHenry (1-7, 0-3) with 12 points.

Carmel 45, Hampshire 38: At the Lake Zurich Exam Jamm, the Whip-Purs fell to the Corsairs. Chloe Van Horn scored 10 points and was named Game MVP for Hampshire (1-7). Jiselle Lopez and Mikala Amegasse added nine points each for the Whips.

Burlington Central 54, Dundee-Crown 29: At Burlington, sophomores Audrey LaFleur and Julia Scheuer scored 19 and 17 points, respectively, to lead the Rockets (2-5, 1-2) to an FVC win over the Chargers (0-7, 0-3).

Prairie Ridge 40, Crystal Lake Central 38: At Crystal Lake, Zoe Nanos scored 19 points as the Wolves (2-6, 1-2) knocked off the crosstown rival Tigers in FVC action. Ruby Macke scored 25 points, including 11 in the final quarter for Central (4-2, 2-1).

Huntley 61, Jacobs 16: At Huntley, the Red Raiders outscored the Golden Eagles 18-1 in the first quarter and never looked back in their FVC game. Anna Campanelli led Huntley (8-0, 3-0) with 16 points. Brianna Ramsey had nine points for Jacobs (3-5, 2-1).

Woodstock 78, Harvard 52: At Woodstock, sophomore Max Beard scored 27 points with five assists as the Blue Streaks opened up play in the Kishwaukee River Conference with a win. Collin Greenlee added 18 points and Ayden Cummings had six points and four rebounds for Woodstock (2-4, 1-0).

Johnsburg 64, Richmond-Burton 53: at Richmond, Jayce Schmitt scored 17 points to lead the Skyhawks in a KRC-opening win. Jarrel Albea had four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points for Johnsburg (2-4, 1-0).

Christian Irslinger tied for game-best honors with 17 and Gavin Radmer added 10 for R-B (2-1, 0-1).

Woodstock North 51, Marengo 43: At Woodstock, the Thunder picked up their first win of the season, improving to 1-3 and 1-0 in the KRC. Zaiden Vess had 15 points on five 3s, AJ Cohen had eight points and Colin Brodzik hit 7 of 9 free throws for seven points.

Marengo was led by Derek Bibbings with 12 points and two 3s.

Westlake Christian 56, Alden-Hebron 19: At Hebron, the Giants fell in a Northeastern Athletic Conference contest.

Boys wrestling

Harvard 46, Belvidere 34: At Belvidere, Gavin Moore, Ashton West, Damian Perez, Bo Branum, Kevin Salas, Christian Mercado and Owen Vail were winners for the Hornets in the nonconference dual.

Marengo 42, North Boone 27: At Poplar Grove, the Indians cruised past the host Vikings.

Marengo 54, Rockford Boylan 27: At Poplar Grove, the Indians completed a sweep by rolling past the Titans.

Boys swimming

Huntley 98, McHenry 70: At McHenry, Szymon Osadnik won the 500-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke to lead the Red Raiders to an FVC dual win. Jacob Axelson won the 50 free and 100 fly and Robbie Rosenbaum won the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley for McHenry.

Boys bowling

Woodstock 3,378, Harvard 2,435: At Woodstock, Max Haggerty rolled the top series of the match for Woodstock with a 644 as the Blue Streaks prevailed in a win over the Hornets. Collin Barnett rolled a 534 series to lead Harvard.

Huntley 3,557, McHenry 2,802: At McHenry, senior Landon Conforti started things off by rolling a 267 on his way to a match-best 692 series as the Red Raiders rolled in the FVC win. Kevin Horist had the top series for the Warriors with a 645.

Girls bowling

Dundee-Crown 2,348, McHenry 2,133: At Carpentersville, Lilly Gifford led the way for the Chargers with a 430 series. Emily Carpenter had the top series of the match for McHenry at 515.

Woodstock 2,606, Harvard 2,249: At Woodstock, Torin Deacon led the Blue Streaks with a team-best 511 series. Macie Norgard rolled the top series with a 539 for Harvard.

Marengo 2,758, Burlington Central 2,215: At Burlington, Callie Walters rolled a 524 series to lead the Indians to the win.

Huntley 3,063, Jacobs 2,680: At Huntley, Erica DeBello rolled the top game (214) and Katie Scaletta the top series (573) to lead Huntley in an FVC victory. Lizzie Lorenz rolled the top series for Jacobs at 532.
